The house has old galvinized. The city is coming through and replacing supply lines with copper up to the meter. We're thinking about repiping, since we have a lot of rust and the galvinized is original (1966). We're probably nearing the end of its lifespan.

As part of this project we might to consider:

And we'd want to make sure we do what we can to make things easy in the event of an eventual Kitchen Remodel? which might entail moving a sink or dishwasher some feet.

And what about a whole house water filter? Our in-fridge water filter slows down to a dribble long before the indicator light comes on to change it (the re-pipe might resolve this problem).
