| Stanley came to visit Bellevue, Washington. Bellevue is very close to Seattle, Washington. Downtown Bellevue is only ten miles east of Downtown Seattle. That's closer than Pasadena! But between Bellevue and Seattle is a big lake, Lake Washington. |
| Stanley helped take Noelle to preschool. She's in the Desert room. She knows kids who speak many different languages, including Italian, Mandarin, Dutch and Hebrew. Her school has kids from all over the world. Her teacher's name is Miss Stephanie. | |
| After dropping Noelle off at preschool Stanley rode the bus across Lake Washington with Noelle's mother Heather to downtown Seattle. Heather's office is on the eighth floor of a thirty story building | |
| Heather had a meeting at the University of Washington that day, so he went with her. On the way to the University, they drove past the space needle, a famous landmark. It was raining that day. |
In the winter and spring it rains a lot in Seattle, but sometimes it only sprinkles. Every few years, it snows during the winter. It snowed twice this year before Stanley came to visit. This year was very exciting for Noelle and her family. Not only was there snow, but in December there was a big windstorm that blew down trees all over the county and took out electrical lines.
Stanley's last weekend in Seattle he helped Noelle celebrate her third birthday:
